Skymage exists because image delivery should not need a media team

Skymage is built by Billy Nguyen to make image optimization practical for small teams, technical founders, and site owners who need faster pages without running a custom image pipeline.

The product goal is deliberately narrow: keep your source images where they are, route requests through Skymage, and let the CDN handle resizing, cropping, compression, watermarking, and cache delivery.

Why this exists

Most websites do not fail because the image problem is mysterious. They fail because every page, CMS, product catalog, and upload flow eventually needs a different image size. Skymage turns those variants into URL parameters instead of manual exports.
